Overview

hike3.0int

This hike explores sandstone monoliths lining Courthouse Wash. You follow jeep roads in a double loop along the bases of Courthouse Rock, Mill-Courthouse Mesa and a butte overlooking Courthouse Pasture. You'll enjoy soaring red sandstone cliffs, beige slickrock plazas and views of nearby Big Mesa, Determination Towers and the Monitor and Merrimac Buttes. The network of roads makes for easy walking. Shorter or longer hikes are possible if desired. You may encounter vehicle traffic, especially on weekends.
