This hike follows jeep roads in a grand loop along Little Canyon Rim. You'll enjoy big views, dramatic clifftop terrain, colorful geology, slickrock plazas and a bird's eye perspective over vehicles below. A network of roads allows for shorter or longer hikes if desired. The roads around the northwest portion of the loop are mostly abandoned and faded - some route finding may be required. There are many junctions so it's best to use GPS. You may have to share the roads with convoys of off-road vehicles.

Gemini Bridges Road is often passable for 2WD vehicles with reasonable ground clearance if you start from the west end at Hwy 313. However to reach the trailhead indicated you'll need to drive part of the Metal Masher safari route where it's best to have 4WD.
If you have 2WD, you could start driving north on Metal Masher and park at the first obstacle, then walk from there. This would add distance but you could still reach the rim and then shorten the loop as desired to keep the total hiking distance manageable.
