This hike explores a colorful mesa perched above the Three Gossips. You'll enjoy hours of exciting rims, dramatic cliffs, deep canyons, soaring spires, multihued slickrock and excellent views of nearby monoliths. The mesa ends in a dramatic narrow ridge overlooking Sheep Rock. Take care to avoid damaging fragile cryptobiotic soils when crossing from the old jeep road to the rim. There's lots of dangerous vertical exposure but it can mostly be avoided - stay back from the edge if you're not comfortable.
