Herdina Park - West

USA> Moab> Arches>

Overview

hike3.5adv

This hike explores the west edge of beautiful Herdina Park. You'll enjoy following convoluted rims overlooking a maze of twisting gullies with slickrock, sandstone fins, colorful geology and complex erosional forms. Scrambling is required to access the northern gullies. You can skip these if desired. The area is pristine and rarely visited. Do your best to avoid damaging fragile soils, walking only on rock or in drainages. It's worth going out of your way to avoid leaving tracks that will last for years.
