This hike loops through the center of Annadel State Park. You'll enjoy a sampler platter of all the park has to offer including oak forest, conifer groves, chaparral, meadows, lakes and picnic tables tucked amid picturesque foothills. You may see deer or lizards. The route is partially shaded but it's still best to avoid going mid-day during warmer months. Watch for poison oak along singletrack sections. The park is popular with mountain bikers, so keep an ear out and be prepared to step off the trail.
