Peekaboo Springs

Overview

hike4.0adv

This hike follows trails from Squaw Flat to Peekaboo Springs. Along the way are sandy meadows, desert scrub, cacti, pothole plazas, twisting canyons, seasonal streams, colorful slickrock ridges, sandstone towers, walk-through arches and metal ladders. Highlights include frequent desert views, dramatic canyon rims and ancient pictographs at the far point. There are a couple important trail junctions that are easy to miss - keep an eye out for posted signs. Go early and bring plenty of water on warmer days.
